There are some people wonder that why Chinese and Japanese love rice so much, since they even eat plain rice without any addition. As the staple, the taste of rice is a little bit subtle due to its sticky texture and sweet taste that you could feel if you taste it carefully. It’s the “real taste” that they care the most, and they are doing their utmost effort to develop a better rice cooker for the domestic life. Recently, I can’t help loving this amazing food, especially the plain rice which tastes better than I imagine. Since then I began to search rice recipe for my own, and I have got bunches of great ideas.
As Japanese commonest recipe, the SUSHI RICE taste sweeter with the specific vinegar, sugar and salt. It’s completely easy to make the sushi rice on your own, but a rice cooker would be inevitable anyway. As for my picky little girl, I would love to add some sesame seeds and make sushi rice balls which she loves so much. To make her lunch box funnier, I have bought the mini rabbit sushi mold.
Compared with sushi rice, fried rice is a little bit complicated but adored more by us out of its rich taste. Fried rice is more like Cantonese style recipe, which has contain lots of ingredients which make the rice tastier. As for me, I love to add green pepper and ham, and the fried rice I made is unbelievable delicious. However, I’m not good at fried rice with eggs, which I have tried once and been unable to forget that wonderful taste anymore. If I have chance to go to China, I swear I am going to try every kind of fried rice.
Baked Cheesy Rice
Baked cheesy rice which loved by my husband is also more complicated than the fried rice. Sometimes, I would fry the rice in advance, which could make the dish taste better. But it’s still okay for you, if you don’t have much time. Get every ingredient sliced and fried a little bit to add its flavor. After everything is well prepared, you could bake it with the bakeware sets.
