As many families do, you have saved a lot of baby food jars which seem to be useless to you. As time goes by, there will be more and more baby food jars in your home until one day when your baby are able to chew and swallow the normal food on his own. In view of that, what can we do with so many baby food jars? For those of you who are puzzled by this situation, here comes the DIY idea, and let’s get started right now.
You baby might be very interested in drawing, and there are tons of crayons that are scattered all over the room. It’s annoying to see such a mess in the room, so you need some crayon holders to keep the room in order. For that reason, it’s time for you to take advantage of those baby food jars.
I’m a fan of LEGO, and here is the LEGO crayon holder. What you are going to need is the baby food jars that are wasted, a disc permanent marker pen and the yellow acrylic paint. Obviously, it’s quite easy to pull off, and it’s very cute as a home decor.
First of all, you have to pour the acrylic paint into the jar which should be washed thoroughly and wiped up in advance. Cover the jar tightly to make sure the paint won’t be leaked out.
Now you are able to shake it as hard as you can, and you should make sure that the jar is coated with the paint thoroughly.
After waiting until the jar dried, you can paint the face on the jars with the black marker, and it’s finished. Now you could give it to your baby and teach him how to organize his crayons.
