Easter Day will come on Sunday, April 5th of 2015. Even though now is still March, many people especially kids, will feel excited about Easter Day. For many kids, Easter Sunday is about the Easter Bunny, colorfully decorated Easter eggs, and Easter egg hunts. Hence, here are some lovely and easy DIY Easter crafts for kids.
1. Egg-Bunny Craft. This is an easy handmade craft for kids. Prepare some plastic eggs (if you think plastic eggs is a little normal to make the bunny, plastic musical eggs would be a great choice if you shake them), white yarns, glue, pom-poms black marker and scissors. Starting at the top of the egg, wrap the egg in white yarn until it fully covered. Tuck end in. Cut felt shapes to make the ears, feet, and eyes, use black marker for the dots on the eyes, glue to egg. Cut pieces of fishing line and glue to egg for whiskers. Glue a small pink pom-pom for a nose and a medium white pom-pom for the tail.
2. Easter egg balloons. Apply brightly colored paints in stripe and polka-dot patterns to balloons and let dry. Then filling a closet or wardrobe with these specially decorated balloons the night before Easter to give your kids a fun surprise on Easter morning.
3. Easy painted Easter eggs. I believe you will enjoy painting the eggs by yourselves. You do have to paint perfectly in order to get a beautiful result and these eggs will be the tradition and classic crafts to your kids. After painting, you can package them in delicate gift bags then store in your house to let your kids find them.
In the end, Easter Sunday is not just a day for the Easter Bunny, Easter eggs, etc. It is a day to commemorate Jesus Christ’s resurrection from death.
