Garden Flower Plant: Myosotis Sylyatica
Recently, I kind of like flowers. However, it is not weird at all, as I am a garden hobbier and also a lady, this is normal. So, today I’d love to introduce a kind of pretty flower to you: Myosotis Sylyatica.
In fact, I was introduced to this flower in my friend’s garden, as she is also a flower lover, she likes cultivate different flowers in her yard. The first time I saw this flower, I was attracted by her blue delicate appearance. She is so small and elegant all the time. My friend told me she had started to cultivate this flower form Myosotis sylyatica seeds. What a beautiful name! Meanwhile, my friend told me a lot of information about this follower.
Myosotis sylvatica is also called wood forget-me-not, which is a species of flowering plant in the family Boraginaceae, native to Europe. It is a short-lived herbaceous perennial or biennial growing to 12-13cm tall profusion of disc-sharped, intensely blue flowers in spring. As woode forget-me-not is a kind of special flower, it likes cold or cool climate and half shade environment. So, it can widely be cultivated throughout the temperate world. Particularly, myositis sylvatica is associated with spring bedding schemes involving other spring-flowering subjects, notably daffodils, tulips, wallflowers and primulas. It is also the parent of numerous cultivars in shades of pink, blue and white.
My friend told me that growing this myosotis sylvatica is not difficult. It requires soil loose, moist and rich in organic matter also, you can plant it anywhere in yard, as it demands not much sunshine. Moreover, it can also be propagation easily.
As for me, this flower is very perfect to my garden; also, it is suitable to any gardens. If you are bored with your garden’s green view, myosotis sylvatica can be a fantasy garden decor.
