Since recently, I have been tired of my office desk and I needed something to make my working place more energetic. Hence I decided to have a plant. What plant is perfect to my office desk? As for me, I like green things and gardening is always what I want to do during my leisure time (even though I live in an apartment and have no place to do grow plants, I still love gardening), pet plants are the perfect plants to my desktop.

I believe many of you may hear about what pet plants are. In fact pet plants are DIY potted plants which are mini but tenacious vitality and easy-growing in a short time and last for a long time. Meanwhile, pet plants are inexpensive which are very suitable for the people who like gardening but have little time to do, and children (they can learn how to grow plants and enjoy this gardening time). So, I purchased some potted plants online and tried to grow them. Including the seeds, soil, and mini pots, all the things were ready and I started to grow my potted plants weeks ago. As the simple direction of the potted plants said, first, I added some soil to fill with the little pot and then, seeds were ready to be scattered on the soil. Secondly came the important part – water. Let the planting steep in water for one hour, at the very first I had doubt on this step as I was wondering did the seeds need so much water. However, I still did it according to the direction.

After the two steps, all I needed to do is waiting a week and watching the plants during the time. They just took three days to sprout and during their sprouting time, soil condition should maintain moist and as for me, I watered them in moderation once a day. After a week, they were growing. However, just like I said, they needed water the most, so, I kept watering them and they needed marinate water 5 minutes every 3 days on time. Or they would get yellow and die.

Now, it has been already three weeks since I started to grow these pet plants. They are still growing and I am kind of enjoying taking care of them. Also, I take one of them to my apartment and let it be my home decor.
